Illegal Content Report

Please include the following information.

Content being reported

Provide the exact location of the content where possible, such as:

  • the PitchYourGuestPost URL;
  • Reviewer profile URL;
  • pitch or message identifier;
  • username or account involved; or
  • any other information that allows us to identify the specific content.

Why you believe it is illegal

Explain clearly why you believe the content or activity is illegal.

Where possible, include:

  • the type of illegality;
  • the country whose law you believe has been violated;
  • the relevant law or legal basis, if known; and
  • any supporting information or evidence.

You do not need to provide a formal legal analysis.

Your details

Please provide:

  • your name or organisation name; and
  • an email address where we can contact you.

Where EU law permits a report concerning certain offences involving the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children to be submitted without these details, you may omit them.

Good-faith declaration

Please include the following statement:

“I declare in good faith that I believe the information and allegations in this report are accurate and complete.”

3. What Happens After a Report

If you provide an email address, we will acknowledge receipt of your report.

We may contact you if we need additional information to identify or assess the reported content.

We will review sufficiently precise and substantiated reports and determine what action, if any, is appropriate.

Possible actions may include:

  • taking no action;
  • removing or restricting content;
  • restricting particular platform functionality;
  • warning a user;
  • suspending or terminating an account; or
  • taking another action required by law.

We will act without undue delay where the circumstances require it.

Where required by applicable law, we will inform the person who submitted the report of our decision and available possibilities for redress. The EU Digital Services Act requires hosting providers to acknowledge qualifying electronic notices and notify the reporting party of their decision without undue delay. EUR-Lex
