Reviewer Terms

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. About These Terms

These Reviewer Terms apply when you participate in PitchYourGuestPost as a Reviewer.

PitchYourGuestPost is operated by István Fábián, Carrer del Laberint 2-4, 08005 Barcelona, Spain.

Email: support@pitchyourguestpost.com

In these Terms, “PitchYourGuestPost”, “PYGP”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the platform.

A “Reviewer” is a person or organisation approved to receive and review guest-post pitches through PitchYourGuestPost.

A “Pitcher” is a user who pays to submit a guest-post pitch to a Reviewer.

By applying to become a Reviewer or continuing to participate as a Reviewer, you agree to these Reviewer Terms and the general Terms of Service.

2. Your Role

Reviewers are independent service providers.

You are not an employee, worker, agent, partner or representative of PitchYourGuestPost.

You decide:

  • whether to participate as a Reviewer;
  • your review price within the limits permitted by the platform;
  • your review deadline within the limits permitted by the platform;
  • whether to accept or decline each pitch; and
  • the editorial decisions relating to your own website.

PitchYourGuestPost does not guarantee you any minimum number of pitches, earnings, visibility or business opportunities.

You are responsible for any registrations, licences, tax obligations or other legal requirements that apply to your activity in your country.

3. What Reviewers Are Paid For

Pitchers pay for genuine consideration and review of their guest-post pitch.

They do not pay for guaranteed acceptance, publication or a backlink.

A completed review occurs when you provide either:

  • an acceptance; or
  • a rejection with genuine feedback.

Both outcomes count as successful completion of the review.

Your payment is earned for performing the review, regardless of whether you accept or decline the pitch.

You must never represent the review fee as payment for guaranteed publication, placement, endorsement or a backlink.

4. Reviewer Approval

Creating an account does not automatically make you a Reviewer.

You must request Reviewer approval.

PitchYourGuestPost may manually approve or reject applications at its discretion based on the suitability, legitimacy and quality of the website or Reviewer.

We may also revoke Reviewer approval where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, repeated missed reviews, poor-quality or mechanical reviews, misleading information, legal concerns or violations of these Terms.

Approval does not guarantee that you will receive pitches.

5. Stripe Connect

To receive paid pitches, you must successfully complete Stripe onboarding through PitchYourGuestPost.

Stripe creates and operates your connected Stripe account and may verify information including your identity, address, tax information and bank account.

Stripe may require you to accept its Connected Account Agreement, Services Agreement and other applicable Stripe terms during onboarding.

PitchYourGuestPost does not receive or store your full bank-account information, identification documents or full card information collected directly by Stripe.

You must keep your Stripe account in good standing and provide Stripe with accurate and current information.

Your Reviewer profile may be hidden or prevented from receiving paid pitches if Stripe indicates that your account is not able to receive transfers or payouts.

6. Authorisation to Use Stripe Connect

By participating as a Reviewer, you authorise PitchYourGuestPost to use Stripe Connect in connection with your Reviewer activity.

This includes authorising us, where necessary to operate the marketplace, to:

  • create or connect your Stripe account to PitchYourGuestPost;
  • provide Stripe with information required to establish the connection;
  • obtain your connected-account status and payment capability information;
  • initiate transfers of Reviewer earnings to your Stripe account;
  • delay or withhold transfers where permitted under these Terms;
  • reverse transfers following refunds, payment reversals or chargebacks;
  • reconcile payment, refund and payout records; and
  • take other payment-related actions reasonably necessary to operate the Reviewer payment system.

Stripe has its own contractual relationship with you regarding the Stripe services it provides.

PitchYourGuestPost is responsible for its own marketplace services and fees.

7. Supported Countries

Reviewer payouts are available only in countries currently supported by PitchYourGuestPost and Stripe for this programme.

You must select your true country of residence during Stripe onboarding.

Availability may differ by country.

If Stripe does not support the necessary payout functionality for your country, you cannot currently receive paid pitches through PitchYourGuestPost.

8. Review Price

You choose your own price for reviewing a pitch.

The current permitted range is:

USD 10 to USD 100 per pitch.

Your price is displayed to Pitchers before purchase.

Once a Pitcher begins checkout, the price for that particular pitch is locked and later changes to your profile do not affect that transaction.

All prices and Reviewer earnings are denominated in US dollars.

9. Platform Commission

PitchYourGuestPost charges a 15% commission on each successfully completed paid review.

Your share is therefore 85% of the review price.

Example:

If your price is USD 25:

  • Pitcher pays USD 25;
  • PitchYourGuestPost commission is USD 3.75;
  • your Reviewer share is USD 21.25.

The platform currently bears the card-processing fees charged in connection with the Pitcher's payment. Those fees are not deducted from your 85% share.

Any future change to the platform commission or fee structure will apply prospectively and will be communicated before it takes effect where required.

10. Review Deadline

You choose a review deadline between 1 and 30 days.

The deadline begins when the Pitcher's payment is successfully confirmed and the pitch is delivered to you.

You should genuinely review and respond to the pitch within the deadline you selected.

Repeatedly missing deadlines may result in restrictions or loss of Reviewer status.

11. Overdue Pitches

A pitch becomes overdue when its deadline passes without a verdict.

Becoming overdue does not automatically cancel the pitch.

After a pitch becomes overdue:

  • the Pitcher may cancel it for a full refund at any time before you submit a verdict; and
  • you may still submit an acceptance or rejection with feedback until the Pitcher cancels.

If you submit a verdict before the Pitcher cancels, the review is completed and you earn your Reviewer share.

If the Pitcher cancels first, the Pitcher is refunded and you earn nothing for that pitch.

12. Reviewer Cancellation

You may cancel a pitch at any time before you provide your verdict, including after the pitch has become overdue.

If you cancel:

  • the Pitcher receives a full refund;
  • you earn nothing for that pitch; and
  • PitchYourGuestPost retains no commission from that transaction.

Repeated cancellations may result in restrictions or removal from the Reviewer programme.

13. Completed Reviews

Once you submit an acceptance or a rejection with genuine feedback, the review is treated as completed.

After completion:

  • the Pitcher can no longer use the platform's normal cancellation mechanism;
  • your Reviewer share becomes eligible for payment subject to the applicable holding period; and
  • your payment remains subject to refunds, chargebacks, fraud investigations and clawbacks described below.

Feedback must reflect a genuine review of the submitted pitch.

Mechanical, automated, meaningless or deliberately misleading feedback does not constitute acceptable performance of the review service.

14. When You Are Paid

After you provide a completed verdict, your Reviewer share is held before being transferred to your Stripe account.

Normally, your share is transferred:

14 days after your verdict.

For your first five payouts through PitchYourGuestPost, the holding period is:

30 days after your verdict.

These holding periods help protect the marketplace against fraud, refunds and payment disputes.

PitchYourGuestPost may reasonably delay a transfer further where necessary because of:

  • suspected fraud;
  • payment disputes;
  • chargebacks;
  • sanctions or regulatory requirements;
  • a Stripe restriction;
  • suspected violation of these Terms;
  • account-security concerns; or
  • an investigation into platform abuse.

15. Bank Payouts

Once PitchYourGuestPost transfers your Reviewer share to your connected Stripe account, Stripe controls the subsequent payout from your Stripe balance to your bank account.

Stripe's payout schedule may vary according to your country, bank, account status and Stripe policies.

PitchYourGuestPost does not guarantee when Stripe or your bank will make funds available after they have been transferred to your Stripe account.

16. Currency Conversion

Reviewer prices and transfers from PitchYourGuestPost are denominated in US dollars.

If your Stripe payout account uses another currency, Stripe may convert the funds.

Stripe or your bank may charge currency-conversion or other financial-service fees.

Those conversion fees are outside PitchYourGuestPost's control and may reduce the amount ultimately received in your bank account.

17. Refunds Before Payment to You

If a pitch is cancelled before your Reviewer share has been transferred to Stripe:

  • the Pitcher is refunded according to the Refund Policy; and
  • you receive no payment for the pitch.

If the payment is refunded or reversed during the payout holding period, the corresponding Reviewer payment may be cancelled.

18. Refunds and Chargebacks After Payment to You

Payments can sometimes be refunded or reversed after your Reviewer share has already been transferred.

This may happen, for example, because:

  • a Pitcher successfully disputes a card payment;
  • a bank or card network reverses a transaction;
  • fraud is discovered;
  • applicable law requires a refund; or
  • PitchYourGuestPost issues a manual refund where appropriate.

If all or part of the Pitcher's payment is returned after your Reviewer share was transferred, you owe PitchYourGuestPost the corresponding proportion of your Reviewer share.

For example:

  • a 100% refund means 100% of your Reviewer share relating to that pitch is owed back;
  • a 50% refund means 50% of your Reviewer share is owed back.

19. Recovering Reversed Reviewer Payments

Where money is owed back following a refund, reversal or chargeback, PitchYourGuestPost may:

  1. reverse all or part of the original Stripe transfer where funds remain available in your Stripe balance;
  2. record any unrecovered amount as an outstanding balance owed by you to PitchYourGuestPost; and
  3. deduct that outstanding amount from future Reviewer earnings before making additional transfers to you.

We will notify you when a Reviewer payment is reversed or an amount is recorded as owed.

If an outstanding amount cannot reasonably be recovered through Stripe or future Reviewer earnings, PitchYourGuestPost reserves the right to request repayment directly.

These rights survive suspension, deletion or termination of your Reviewer account.

20. Fraud and Payment Risk

PitchYourGuestPost and Stripe use fraud-prevention and risk-management systems.

We may:

  • reject payments;
  • delay Reviewer transfers;
  • reverse transfers;
  • restrict Reviewer activity;
  • request additional information;
  • suspend Reviewer approval; or
  • terminate Reviewer participation

where reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, chargeback abuse, identity misuse, payment manipulation or other platform abuse.

Stripe may independently restrict your connected account under its own terms.

21. Reviewer Standards

You agree to review pitches genuinely, independently and in good faith.

You must:

  • actually consider the substance of each pitch;
  • provide genuine feedback when declining;
  • make your own editorial decision;
  • communicate respectfully;
  • disclose material conflicts of interest where relevant;
  • avoid discrimination prohibited by applicable law;
  • comply with your selected review deadline where reasonably possible; and
  • comply with these Terms and applicable law.

You must not:

  • use bots or automation to generate fake or mechanical verdicts;
  • accept payment for a review without genuinely reviewing the pitch;
  • falsely claim that a review fee guarantees publication;
  • manipulate transactions or platform activity;
  • coordinate fraudulent purchases or chargebacks;
  • request payment outside the platform for the review already purchased through PitchYourGuestPost;
  • resell or commercially exploit Pitcher submissions;
  • scrape submission data;
  • use Pitcher submissions to train machine-learning models;
  • unlawfully disclose confidential submissions; or
  • use Pitcher information for unrelated marketing.

22. Publication After Acceptance

Accepting a pitch means you indicate that you are interested in proceeding with the Pitcher.

Acceptance itself does not create a guarantee by PitchYourGuestPost that an article will ultimately be published.

Any later arrangements concerning:

  • article drafting;
  • editing;
  • publication;
  • editorial requirements;
  • publication dates;
  • links;
  • changes to content; or
  • other collaboration details

are between you and the Pitcher unless PitchYourGuestPost expressly provides otherwise.

PitchYourGuestPost is not responsible for enforcing subsequent publication arrangements between you and the Pitcher.

23. Taxes and Legal Status

You are responsible for determining and complying with the tax, business-registration, VAT, social-security and other legal obligations that apply to your Reviewer earnings.

PitchYourGuestPost does not provide tax advice.

You must provide accurate tax, residency and identification information where reasonably required by Stripe, PitchYourGuestPost or applicable law.

You must accurately declare whether you are providing Reviewer services as part of a business or professional activity where the platform requests this information.

24. Tax Reporting and DAC7

PitchYourGuestPost may be legally required to collect, verify, retain and report information about Reviewers and their earnings to tax authorities.

This may include information such as:

  • your legal name;
  • address;
  • country of residence;
  • tax residence;
  • tax identification number;
  • VAT identification number where applicable;
  • payout-account information or identifiers;
  • amounts earned;
  • platform commissions or fees;
  • number of paid activities; and
  • other information required by applicable tax-reporting rules.

Some of this information may be collected or verified through Stripe.

You agree to provide accurate information reasonably requested for these purposes and to keep it current.

Where legally required, PitchYourGuestPost may report this information to the Spanish tax authorities or other competent authorities and may provide you with a copy or summary of information reported about you.

Failure to provide legally required information may result in payouts being delayed, restricted or suspended.

25. Pitcher Data and Your Privacy Responsibilities

When PitchYourGuestPost provides you with a Pitcher's submission and associated personal information for review, you may process that information only as necessary to:

  • evaluate the submission;
  • decide whether to accept or reject it;
  • provide your feedback;
  • communicate regarding that pitch; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

For this processing, PitchYourGuestPost and you generally act as independent controllers of the personal data each party processes for its own purposes.

You must have an appropriate legal basis for any processing you carry out.

26. Restrictions on Pitcher Data

You must not use personal information contained in a pitch for unrelated purposes unless you independently have a lawful basis permitting that use.

In particular, you must not use Pitcher data for:

  • unrelated direct marketing;
  • sale or resale of personal data;
  • building unrelated marketing databases;
  • profiling unrelated to the review;
  • training machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models;
  • unauthorised publication; or
  • disclosure to unrelated third parties.

You must use reasonable security measures to protect submission data.

You should delete or securely anonymise personal data obtained through pitches when you no longer reasonably need it for the review, subsequent accepted collaboration, dispute handling or another lawful purpose.

27. Confidentiality

Pitch material may contain unpublished ideas, drafts, business information or other non-public information.

You must treat non-public submission material as confidential and must not disclose it except:

  • where necessary to evaluate or proceed with an accepted pitch;
  • to a person who reasonably needs access and is bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations;
  • with the Pitcher's permission; or
  • where disclosure is legally required.

This obligation continues after your Reviewer relationship with PitchYourGuestPost ends.

28. Data Incidents and Requests

If you become aware of unauthorised access, disclosure, loss or misuse of Pitcher personal data obtained through PitchYourGuestPost, you must notify us without undue delay.

Where the incident may materially affect PitchYourGuestPost or platform users, you should notify us within 48 hours of becoming aware of it where reasonably possible.

You must reasonably cooperate with legitimate data-protection requests or regulatory obligations concerning Pitcher information you received through the platform.

29. Reviewer Content and Feedback

You retain ownership of original feedback and other material you create.

You grant PitchYourGuestPost a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, transmit and display your verdict and feedback as necessary to:

  • provide it to the Pitcher;
  • operate the service;
  • maintain transaction records;
  • investigate disputes;
  • enforce these Terms; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

You must not include unlawful or infringing material in your feedback.

30. Platform Ranking and Visibility

PitchYourGuestPost does not guarantee any particular placement, ranking or visibility in the Reviewer directory.

Reviewer visibility may be affected by factors such as:

  • relevance to a Pitcher's search or category;
  • availability;
  • review history;
  • responsiveness;
  • marketplace activity;
  • quality or integrity signals; and
  • compliance with platform requirements.

We may change ranking systems over time.

Where legally required, the principal ranking parameters will be disclosed to users.

31. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or remove Reviewer status where reasonably necessary because of:

  • repeated missed deadlines;
  • repeated cancellations;
  • mechanical or bad-faith reviews;
  • misleading profile information;
  • fraudulent activity;
  • excessive payment disputes associated with your activity;
  • attempted fee circumvention;
  • misuse of Pitcher data;
  • confidentiality breaches;
  • harassment or discrimination;
  • failure to maintain an eligible Stripe account;
  • failure to provide legally required tax information;
  • sanctions or regulatory restrictions;
  • illegal content or conduct; or
  • material or repeated violation of these Terms.

Where required by law, we will provide the reason for a moderation or account decision and information about available appeal mechanisms.

32. Ending Your Reviewer Participation

You may stop participating as a Reviewer at any time.

Stopping Reviewer participation does not eliminate obligations relating to:

  • reviews already completed;
  • outstanding Pitcher transactions;
  • payment reversals;
  • refunds;
  • chargebacks;
  • outstanding amounts owed to PitchYourGuestPost;
  • confidentiality;
  • Pitcher data;
  • tax reporting; or
  • other obligations that by their nature continue after termination.

33. Platform Changes

PitchYourGuestPost may change marketplace functionality, payment processes, supported countries, price limits or Reviewer programme rules.

Material changes to these Reviewer Terms will normally be notified at least 15 days before they take effect where required by applicable law.

A shorter notice period may apply where immediate changes are required because of law, fraud prevention, security, Stripe requirements or another urgent legal or technical reason.

34. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PitchYourGuestPost is not responsible for:

  • the number of pitches you receive;
  • loss of expected Reviewer income;
  • a Pitcher's decision not to continue after your review;
  • publication arrangements between you and a Pitcher;
  • Stripe payout timing;
  • exchange-rate changes;
  • Stripe or bank conversion fees;
  • temporary payment-provider outages; or
  • indirect or consequential business losses.

PitchYourGuestPost does not guarantee any minimum earnings from Reviewer participation.

35. Governing Law

These Reviewer Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory rights or jurisdictional protections that cannot legally be excluded.

36. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how PitchYourGuestPost processes Reviewer information, Stripe account identifiers, transaction records and other personal data.

Stripe separately processes information under its own privacy terms.

37. Relationship With Other Terms

These Reviewer Terms apply together with:

  • the general Terms of Service;
  • the Privacy Policy;
  • the Refund Policy; and
  • applicable Stripe agreements.

If there is a conflict relating specifically to your obligations as a Reviewer, these Reviewer Terms apply to your Reviewer activity.
